President of the Athletics Federation (AFN) Chief Solomon Ogba has hailed the re-election of Dr. Gabriel Suswam as governor of Benue State as well as the victory of Alh. Ibrahim Shehu Gusau in the House of Representatives elections.
“We are indeed very proud of the successes of these worthy board members of our federation. We therefore congratulate them and hope they remain our ambassadors for the development of track & field in the country,” observed the former Delta State sports commissioner. Governor Suswam is the honorary president of the AFN while Gusau; a former commissioner in Zamfara State is the 1st vice president of the federation.
